When it comes to online marketing, branding is everything. You must establish yourself as a recognizable entity. When you guest post, you present yourself as an expert, and the more credible you appear to readers, the stronger your brand.

When you guest post for someone else’s site, you build a rapport with the site owner. This type of networking can lead to a multitude of advantages, including more guest posting opportunities, backlinks, exposure and brand recognition.

Although you should always guest post only for sites that are somehow related to the expertise you have to offer (and likely your site’s niche), you should also always tailor your guest posts to the sites you are writing for.
