Earlier today, iH8sn0w updated sn0wbreeze to support iOS 5 beta 5. Sn0wbreeze lets users to preserve the baseband and update to the latest iOS. Baseband preservation is helpful for ultrasn0w unlockers as well as GEVEY unlockers, since Apple blocked GEVEY 112 exploit with the release of iOS 5 beta 2.
So, if you want to enjoy unlock on iOS 5, you must use sn0wbreeze to preserve baseband.
Last month, I reported that GEVEY sim works on iOS 5 beta 3. There was n0 sn0wbreeze for iOS 5 Beta 4.

I am on baseband 03.10.01 do you think that i should upgrade the baseband to 04.10.01 ?
You can upgrade to 04.10.01. Gevey sim still works with 04.10.01.
What about Gevey Ultra? Does it work if I preserve the baseband? Even if I had to dial the 112 number it would be OK, I just really want to use iOS 5

Currently GEVEY Sim works with beta versions iOS 5 while preserving baseband. It also requires to dial 112.
