Apple recently launched iPad and iPad 2 in India. And now it’s the turn for the iPhone 4. After almost 11 months, Apple has launched iPhone 4 in India.
And today I saw iPhone 4’s commercial on some news channel. “If you don’t have an iPhone” is being aired on Indian television channels now. Apple has started marketing about the iPhone 4 in India now. Also, today’s newspaper, The Times of India, has the iPhone 4 ad on the front page. The ad is marketed by Airtel. And the video ad I saw was by Aircel.
The prices of iPhone 4 by both Airtel & Aircel are:
- 16 GB – Rs. 34,500
- 32 GB – Rs. 40,900
Both the telecom operators are offering 50% off if you’ve monthly bill of Rs. 2000 or more. You can save about Rs. 24,000 yearly if you go with this plan. The contract period is of 2 years.
Aircel is offering 100% money back plans with premium billing.
You can check other plans online for Airtel & Aircel.
There’s currently no news whether Vodafone will be launching iPhone 4 in India. For the time being, Airtel & Aircel are bringing in the iPhone 4 in India.

Looks like a contract is the best way forward.
GALAXY S2..Samsung has put on a lot of effort in their mobile production, in making really beautiful and powerful phones that actually deliver much more than an iphone..and android OS being an added advantage with a lot of cool and free apps. thumbs up for samsung!!!
I think both can still lower price.
